Popular Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade also known as Asake, has been named Nigeria’s most streamed artist of 2023 on Spotify.
The streaming platform made the announcement in a data release on Wednesday.
Three of Asake’s songs are in the top 10 most streamed songs on Spotify in Nigeria.
His ‘Lonely at the Top’ found its place at the very top; ‘2:30’ finished fourth; and ‘Amapiano’, with Olamide at number 10.
On this year’s Spotify Wrapped for Nigeria, the Lonely at the Top star topped the list, followed by Burna Boy and Davido.
Seyi Vibez ended the year at number four on the chart, followed by Omah Lay in fifth, BNXN at number six, Rema at number seven, Odumodublvck in eighth, Olamide was ninth and Wizkid was 10th.
Also, Asake was the most streamed artiste in Togo and Ghana.
