Nigerian singer-songwriter, Darey Art Alade and his wife, Deola are celebrating 17 years wedding anniversary.

The couple took to their Instagram pages to share cute photos and confirm how much they love each other.

In that post, Darey described his wife as the Ying to his coconut head Yang, the queen of his heart and soul.

He said they faced many obstacles along the way but came out strong.

“17 years? How?? When? Doing life with you has been an adventure and a half. With so many twists and turns, challenges and obstacles but we have manoeuvred through them with grace and love and joy,” he wrote.

“Happy Anniversary to the Queen of my heart and soul. The one who makes me whole. The one who completes me. The Ying to my coconut head Yang. Love you more than words or emotions can ever express sweetie @deolaartalade and this you already know! What do you say? Let’s give them another 17, yeah?”

For her part, Deola thanked Darey for his unwavering support, kindness and devotion, describing him as a wonderful husband and partner.
