The Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, joins his entourage and colleagues to wish Rema speedy recovery.

Recall that the ‘Calm Down’ crooner, who was initially scheduled to tour Lagos, Abuja and Benin, said he would not be going anywhere this December due to health reasons.

Reacting through his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday, Governor Obaseki said Edo people were proud of Rema and would stand behind him every step of the way.

He said the Edo-born’s extraordinary feat of selling out London’s O2 Arena to amass 1.6 billion streams on Spotify this year not only showed he had extraordinary talent but was an eye-opener for young creatives.
