Nigerian Afrobeats star, Davido reacts after his colleague, Rema cancels all shows in December to focus on his health.

Recall that the ‘Calm Down’ crooner said in a short statement via his Instagram page on Wednesday that he has been neglecting his health and needs to recuperate.

Rema said he neglected his health during his years of touring and said it was time to get healthy.

He wrote, “It breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December. Been years of touring I’ve ignored my health & I need time to recover. 2024 Back to love”.

Reacting, Davido said in a post via Instagram that their job is not easy and applauded Rema for exceeding expectations and making Africa proud.

He wrote: “The job ain’t easy…physically and mentally!!. You’ve done Africa and the world proud beyond expectations. Get some rest king @heisrema come back stronger”.
